Meet the Team
Gerry Pender
Managing Director
I’m the owner and founder of G.M.P Contracting Services LTD as well as one of our jointers. I’ve worked nationwide on some of the most high profile public and private sector electrical projects of the last 50 years including the London Docklands Regeneration. While I’m happy to spend some time in the office I’m more often found out on site getting my hands dirty working alongside our other site staff.
Jim Garry
Estimator
I’m Jim and next to Gerry I’m the longest serving member of G.M.P staff. I started back in 2012 as a jointers mate before moving into the office in 2013 to take over the day to day running of the business.
Chris Jefferys
Operations Manager
I took over the day to day running of the business at GMP in 2021. I’m responsible for managing the scheduling of our civil and jointing teams. You may also see me out on site, conducting audits and site inspections.
William Turnbull
Finance Manager
As well as maintaining GMP’s ledgers I can often be found keeping my fingers in other areas of the business. I have also worked on the NERS side of the business and am still actively involved with new and ongoing projects.
Kian Wigley
Project Manager
I started at GMP Contracting Services Ltd. in 2019 as an apprentice. I have since taken on the role as Project Manager, where I am responsible for pricing jobs and taking them forward to completion.
